Abstract Composite materials, such as fiber reinforced polymers, become increasingly important due to their excellent mechanical and lightweight properties. In this respect, paper reports the characterization of a unidirectional carbon polymer composite material. Particularly, behavior overall individual constituents is investigated. To end, tensile shear tests are performed for composite.
